Mentioned in another thread, this boolit would have the same nose profile and cavity of the NOE 186/215. We need to get 5 orders in to get put on the schedule. This is the design donor boolit, just 14 grains heavier in HP form, and 15 grains heavier in FP form:

I'll go ahead and put myself in the #1 slot...

Hey is this one going to be brass? If it is a choice I would perfer its not brass. I own a 3 cavity brass mold and it is heavy. They are heavier then iron molds.

The projected mold will be made from brass Bardo. I'm not sure if Swede would be willing to do this one from 2024T3 or not.

Brass is fine. Now if we could get 1 more person we could get on the schedule.

I'll take an RG-2 in brass. This would be a dandy, I almost bit on the light weight option but I have had better luck with the 200 grainers and functioning.

I'll take an rg-2 also.

With that big HP and low SD, anyone have any idea how they penetrate?
I'm very tempted to go for this guy, and then go for something to shoot it in.

When I was thinking about this boolit, I thought that if we combined the two most popular weights into one, it would be the ideal mold. If the 186 HP discussion hadn't been posted, I never would have made the leap of just increasing the weight and getting both boolits. NOE is just a great company to deal with. I've got two of their molds so far; the H&G #68 5-cavity, and the 247 Whisper mold (which drops 240's with my wheelweight alloy).

RG-4 All the way. All pins.
I really should boycott this forum.

So, RG2 is hollow point and furnished with pins to make it flat point also? or vice/versa.
Are prices same as other mold?
