Not having much experience with recoil pads, can someone tell me how to remove a Decelerator pad? I don't see any place to put a screwdriver to take out the screws, if they are installed with screws. TIA. Emery

Emery, take your thumb, and pull the rubber sideways, about an inch from the top, and about an inch and a half from the bottom. You should see a slit in the rubber over each screw location. Lube your phillips screw driver, insert, and turn the screws out.

waksupi is right, but I have seen them where they were glued on with no screws being used, also some guys will fill the hole with silicon and if done carefully cannot be distinguished from one with no holes

Thanks guys, I wil take a look tomorrow. The pad is installed on a Rolling Block and it sure doesn't look right. Length of pull will be acceptable with the pad removed and a buttplate installed. Otherwise, I will have to make a leather cover for the pad. Emery
