I see a group buy on this one. can any one tell me about this bullet. I dont have any load data on this heavy of a bullet for a 308. I would expect to get over 1600 fps out of it. If you had it in hp i bet it would be a deer killing machine. I have been looking at getting a 30 cal hp and not sure what would be the best. If a guy could only have one 30 cal hp mold which one would be best for deer. my rifle ruger comact 308 with 1 in 10 twist. Any info would be great.

I have this mould in a plain base hollowpoint, and I intend to do some load development in the Spring with the intention of developing a deer killing machine at 1600 - 1800fps using my .30-06 Model 70.

the original focus was on a heavy bullet for subsonic use in things like the 300 BLK/Whisper.

It will be available, iirc, in both PB & GC versions, and you can get a cavity or more HP'ed.

I bought both mould options, and had one cavity of each made HP. I am over 1900fps with the GC version in an old Remington in 300 H&H with sub-moa accuracy at 100/200yds.
My alloy is 96% Lead, 2% each tin and antimony. At 200 and under it will turn a coyote into an unrecognizable mess of hair, guts and bloody swatches in the snow.

My NOE moulds are so well crafted, that you could not see any dimensional difference between boolets from the 4 cavities by miking them.

I figure with having it with a hp and it really opened up it would still have real good penetration with all that extra weight. Does any one have load data for this bullet in the 308 win?
