how difficult would it be to size a .36 lead rb to .32?

or does anybody know of a .32 rb mould, or 70-80gr .32 mould?

A .36 RB is either .360" or .375" in dia. Thats a long way to size down to the .308-14" dia that is used in .32 cal cartridges. What I use is a 00 buckshot, it works in all .30 cal and .32 cal cartridges I've tried .

.350 RBs should be easy to size to .32.

Lee makes slightly heavier moulds for the 32 (assuming 32 revolver) and they could be modified to a lighter weight by having the tops of the blocks milled.

I go with excess650, it should be easy. It seems like allot but unlike a boolit which is flat on the sides, a RB is round. Thats why I perfer to use them when slugging a barrel over boolits. Lee has a RB mould that is either .318 or .319 but I believe 319 and usually drops more like 320/1 or can be easily coaxed to do so.

Lee sells a 311 RB mold. Mine come out at 313-314 with straight WW.

Hornady sells single 0 buckshot in five pound boxes that measure .320". I don't know how many are in five pounds, but it is a lot.

Lyman #'s 311249 and 311252 are ~84 and ~77 grains, respectively. I am sure there are others.

Should not be too difficult if you've got something intermediate to size to first. I've sized a lot of .375's down to .360 to shoot in 38's and 357's. In your case though, not many will have a sizer between .360 and your desired .314 or so. .338" or 8mm come to mind. Regards, Woody

I just tried one of my .375 rb's sized to .360" thru a Lee .311 sizer. Didn't want to go but might have with a good dollop of jpw and a stronger arm. They did size down to .323" easily and then down to .311". After sizing they look kinda like a round topped wadcutter with no grease grooves. Regards, Woody
