I am getting closer to starting the cast boolit thing. I made the Filex lub today. I think it turned out ok. That is a long 30 minutes of stiring. I am going to pan lub so I added about 1 tablespoon of paraffin to make it a little harder. It is to get a little warmer (45 to50 degrees) tomorrow so will cast some boolits in the garage. Then I can load and shoot. Sorry, typo in title. Fingers don't go where I tell them to go.

The first time I made FWFL, I only heated enough oil for that batch. You are right, it is a long time to stand at the stove stirring something.

Now I mix up enough to fill a bottle and heat several batches worth of oil at once.
