Just got back from my favorite little gunshop where they had 3 new (to them) items which got my attention. They had:
1. Sako R61 in .30-06 with 3 to 9 Simmons scope- $345
2. S&W K-22, 6 inch barrel- $325
3. Colt Officier's Model Match .38-$450

All of them are in excellent or better condition. I can see myself maybe buying either or both of the first two but the Colt is a bit out of my price range...

All those prices are pretty reasonable. The OMM is especially so, those are getting pricey if mechanics are good. Is that the same little shop we went to a while back?

Make it happen.........trade....lay away.....work out a deal....but the Colts are a treat to shoot. I would suggest that you will not find as good a shooter anywhere. They LOVE cast bullets......you can shoot them with standard velocity cast lead bullets loads forever. They made those guns when they were making good quality guns.....good steel, great machine work, close tolerances, beautiful deep blue.....and depending upon the age of the gun it could even be hand fitted at final assembly.
