Ice Fishing again

Zac had so much fun last weekend when we went (free fish weekend) that he went and bought a licence this weekend. We headed out to the same area of the bay and did pretty good. Took a friend of a friend with us, I have been fishing with him before and he is a good guy so I didnt have a problem with it when he called last night and asked to go. We got our hole spuded about 8:30 and started pulling fish up right away. We caught the perch pretty soild for about a half hour. After that it was only once in a while until about noon.

Zac pulled a nice 12" perch out of the hole and then it was a feeding craze, we caught probably 20 more that were keeper size in about 20 minutes and kept catchin medium sized perch until we ran out of minows.
Look close you can see a 6" perch almost dead center of the pic.

Last weekend we walked this weekend Zac drove his truck with a quad in the back, and I had the shanty with all the other gear.

Alot of other people on the bay today also, seems everyone was pulling fish because they were all out there the hole time we were, we left at about 3:30 and more people were coming in.

There's nothing better than a good hour of catch after catch. 12 inch perch is a darn nice fish too! I've only gone out a couple of times this season and it's sure nothing to brag about. Last year was a great year for trout, this year for trout has been terrible. Even perch was slow.

Is that one of them trollin holes?? Wouldn't be legal in my state.
