Hello all,New member here.I have been lurking for a couple months and just getting into casting my own. I have a brother that deliveres tires for a living and he has started collecting wheel-weights for me. I already have 150 pounds smelted into ingots.Now to buy the other stuff.I have been reloading for several years but 99.999 has been jackated.

Welcome to the addiction, sir--and we are among the most capable enablers and co-dependants available. :-) I have any one of a number of relatives I could trade for a brother-in-law with wheelweight and tire shop access.

What calibers and platforms will you be melting for? 150# is a good start, but some of us here develop anxiety if the raw material supply dips under 300#.
