What if I melted some zinc WW in a batch of regular WW's? What is the mayor problem with this?

Melt your weights at between 550 and 600 degrees. Anything that does not melt, skim off and scrap.
Zinc will prevent the boolit from filling out the mold and you will never cast a good one. They will look galvanized like a rain gutter or metal roofing.
The stuff also screws up the flow from a ladle or bottom pour.

FWIW . . I was really worried about doing this on my first batch as well . . .if you can monitor the temp it's not a problem as the just float up and don't dissolve. I even got it a bit hot (close to 800 degrees) because my turkey fryer was more efficient than I thought and it was still obvious. If you can keep it around 650 you won't have an problems whatsoever.

Just my .02
