What do you guys use to slug a 9x18 barrel? It's a CZ82. I tried finding some egg sinkers at three different sporting goods stores and all were out.

Soft lead bigger than .366"- what do you have that you can squash to get it that size?

cast a .357 semi-wad cutter out of pure Pb. smoosh it just a little in a vice and voila! a .367 slug.

A .375 RB for a BP 36 caliber would work real good. I could send you some if you want. I (think) I just bought a CZ82 on another board. I'm waiting for a reply. I think it would be a nice light load of a gun for the wife to shoot when we go shooting.

I used a .357" bullet cast with soft lead. Squished it a little with a hammer and slugged the bore like normal. Your CZ should have polygonal rifling. I measured mine by wrapping the slug in a piece of thin feeler gauge and then subtracted twice the thickness of the feeler gauge to get my measurement.
Enjoy, the CZ82 is a great gun and very enjoyable to shoot.

The CZ82 is one of my favorite pistols to shoot.

I want to thank Mooman76 for sending me some Round balls. I was reading some threads about making your own slugs and thought I'd try it. I drilled a 3/8" hole through a 3/4" piece of teak wood and laid that on a piece of flat stock metal. The end result was .367 to .369 which I think will work out just fine.
