For a lack of anything better to last night I watched this show on the Military channel. Big mistake! Reminded me of Top Shot, also a big waste. Not sure if I`ll give them another look - see next week after the show disaster this week?Robert

I watched about the last 15 minutes of it last night then set it to record on my DVR so I can watch it from the start later today. Love the way they showed a pic of a '60 Colt Army for the SAA, LOL. Generally most of the Gun shows on TV are pretty lame loaded with a lot of false info. Guess I'll have to see what the next show on the M1 Garand is like.

I still don't think anything can beat Mail Call for going over the 'older' firearms.

Gun Stories just can't be beat on production quality and technical accuracy, IMO.

I haven't seen it yet but it can't be as bad as over dramatised Red Jacket ****. or at least I hope not. FB

+5 on Mail Call, Gunny made it fun to watch and he's a good supporter of all our rights not just the Second Amendment.
Had to yell at my 12 year old cousins about that Son's of Guns Red Jacket horse dust, he thought it's pretty cool, i say it's a bunch of drama plus half@$$ed "fixes" or modifications to guns. As soon as i saw the arrow launching .410 i was done because you can already buy an aftermarket 10/22 kit to launch bolts with broadheads using .22 blanks and a much better design. They're all junk although the History channel does a good job with most gun info i'm not a huge fan of Top Shot either for the Survivor-style drama.

Nothing worse than dumbed down tripe on television.

at least it was on guns.
we keep boobing about shooting and stuff that shows guns being used for hunting/just fun shooting etc on the t.v.
but at least they are showing something besides them carting them off to be cut up or dumped into the atlantic.
think about it.

I recorded and wathed it this AM on my day off... a considerable waste of time. When that Ramboid type bragged how he would take the beretta 92 9mm anytime anywhere... I stopped watching. Had I been able to take a hammer to the M9 I was issued when they took away my 1911A1 back in the day I would most assured have done so !.

I decided not to watch when I seen the promo. A guy hold a AK47, said they were developed in 1947 so than they have been around since WWII. IIRC WWII ended in Sept 1945.

Got to watch it from the beginning today, since when does a 45 Colt, with what should be a 250gr bullet, have a muzzle velociety of 1200 fps?
IIRC it should be 850fps or around that number.
