I have in my mould inventory a 291379 mould.
What cartridge was this originally made for?
I'm sure I bought it way back when to try and use in a 7,35 Carcano.
Not sure I can beagle it enough for this or not.
Have not cast anything in it so don't have measurement sizes.
Anyone have any experience with is mould.
I have a NEI 3 cavity mould one of which is designed for the 7,35 but would really like to have another option.
I think the 300136 is the mould of choice but it is alikened to hens teeth.
Any thoughts and information on this would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I think the original 1889 bullet for the Swiss Schmidt straight pull rifle was a lead bullet of about this diameter, paper patched.

Dave, I don't have any experience with a 291379, nor ever heard of one. A diameter of .291" would be too small for a Carcano. Maybe it's for the .280 Ross, or maybe a REAL old mould designed for the wildly unpopular .28 Stevens, America's first ever 7mm? I love this board, there are so many casters that somebody will come up with anything imaginable.
