Trying to remember a Movie title?????

I saw a movie that had Steve Martin in it a while ago. He played a corrupt evangelist who went from town to town with a big tent and a bus and put on a show and Healed people that he had hired to act sick and collected money and moved on. He was a fake and knew he was a fake and yet as the movie plays out The Lord does work through him in spite of his fakery. I want to get that movie if I can find out the title.

Easy way to find such things is the Internet Movie Database imdb.com lets you search by actor, title, partial title, director or whatever.

Another +1 for imdb for movie info. Interesting to watch a movie then look it up and read assorted trivia about the sets, filming, actors, etc.
