Hi Gang,

I have seen mention of a 200/220 grain Lee mold that is suppose to be the "Cat's Wiskers" for the 35 Rem. I am Referbing an old Savage Model 170B in that Cal. I'd realy like to know the Stock # of that mold. ( single or 2 cavity).

This is going to be the wife's Hog Gun. Condom bullets just don't cut it.

BTW: Ever try and find 35 rem Lee dies?? I hunted their site till I was Blue in the face. Found the # at Factory Direct. Why don't they list ALL their products on their web site?

Thanks in Advance,

TwoTrees... I don't ever remember there being a Lee mold offered in that size... When it comes to the 35 Rem most are special ordering the molds. I have a NIB Savage 170B in 35 Remington!

You sure you are looking at the Lee Precision web site? Dies are very easy to find... Products> Full Length Sizing Dies (die set is listed in the chart).

.359" 150 Grn. FN Lyman 2-Cav. Mould #358477

.358" 195 Grn. RN Lyman 2-Cav. Mould #358430

Is the 195 ok to feed in tube magazine in 35 Remington?

The 150 should work OK, but these hogs get over 400 lbs and I'de like to see her have more punch through.

Thanks Again.

You will not like the price as well as a Lee, but RCBS has a 200gr RN GC, The mold I got was not aligned properly and even with readjustment following instructions on a site, it still has fins on most of the bullets, but if you trim the fins off, it shoots ok.
I have shot it at 2300fps in my .35 Whelen and got 1" groups at 50 yds.
It weighs 215gr with check when using plain wws.

I am more than well pleased with the RCBS 200 RF in the 35 Rem. sundog
