I did some crude measurement off of the picture in the first post. What is the measurement of the first band that is full diameter to the base? My crude measuring gets about .450.

Given the The ridiculously slow pace of these Group Buys, I can't blame you. I'll leave my name there, but if in 18 months it comes time to pay, I might have moved on to something else.

yeah, I'd like to see this one too, but I honestly hope for a small delay, as I dont have this one paid for yet, and I really cant afford to make payment next month.
Feb is always my worst month of the year and this one was listed as being ready to go in Jan
Jim,
Hope I am wrong but if Al is doing two group buys per month then we won't see this buy made until Oct.

Well I'm embarrassed Jim, I gave $72.00 in 1982 for the Rifle I am buying this mold for, so I am paying more for the mold than the rifle. I've only shot 20 rounds total out of this rifle, got 20 rounds of surplus 7 x 57 with the rifle when I bought it back then. Once we get the mold I guess I'll have to shoot it again, I laid in about 200 rounds of boxer brass for it back in the late 1990's when midway had some they put on sale.

Does this boolit design work well in both Mil-Surp chambers and shorter throat commercial like Ruger chambers?
Not all Ruger throat lengths are created equal..
Can't touch the lands and have 175gr. Hornady stay in the case in a Ruger #1 that I have..

Wow, that doesn't sound right. The throat in my Ruger No.1 is about .300" long.
That's why I said, Ruger throats are not all created equal..
Depends on what time frame they were made in??
