if price were no problum and you had a ton of 60/40 sowder liontype - soft lead-- ww how would you mix for pistol bulets? is thers some good in adding soft lead? i knoe the 60/40 makes it pour smother. the liontype makes it hard the ww good all around. oh yes you can not sale what is left over. so what would be a good mix? this is not saying you have to use all or any part of the 4 things listed, just if you had it all how would you mix it. and no water dip. thinks

For low velocity/low pressure wad cutters and black powder cartridge.....ten pounds lead to one pound 60/40.

For magnum revolver over ~1100fps. and rifles smaller than 30 cal. over ~1500fps....half lead and half lino for 92-6-2 alloy about 16 to 18 BHN.

For everything else.....wheel weights or 1 1/2lb. lino and 8 1/2lb. lead.

the mixture i have been using is 10 lb ww 2 lb liontype - 6 oz 60/40. from reading so many saying save the lion. that stright ww is good. i was thinking of 10 ww--1 lion. -4 oz 60/40. i do have about 300 lb lead and 200 lb range bullets. do not realy need to use them yet. just wondered if using some pure lead in with ww and liontype would make for a better pistol bullet. i am down to 400 lb mixed . i have 1500 lb ww in 5lb bars ready to mix. i will be using abour 200lb pot. thanks
