Every year, about this time, Mid Carolina Rifle Club, in Columbia, SC holds and event they call "Gunstock". It's an invitation only recreational shoot. Them what are invited receive an invitation because they are known to own unusual firearms. I got an invitation(again) simply because everyone likes my Gibbs Summit bolt action .45-70.

You show up, put all your firearms on the bench and everyone is welcome to shoot whatever they care to. It's a lot of fun. I thought y'all might like to see some photos.

Charlie Petty was there.

There was an assortment of full auto items.

An old friend of mine behind the Gibbs. He said it was "A bit stout."

I got to shoot the club president's S&W .460. That was fun.

Great pics, U should have brought the Brownchester model 1886 SRC along,

Too bad that range isn't close to your home, very nice range...I like the idea of their invitational shoot with the unusual firearms, perhaps could adapt it for my local range, but open to all members with a request to bring their most unusual weapons and plenty of ammo to share.

I do like system!

Those that has something to share will share with kin. "Browsers" is of no interest.
