I went back out to the range today after worship. Ben and I shot his new Tikka 30-06 and my Savage 110 30-06.I was really impressed with the Tikka. Here are two of the groups shot from my Savage. This rifle seems to really like these two boolits. It also shot some
308291's pretty well.

Great Groups Guys! :bigsmyl2:

I am curious why you always shoot, or mostly shoot, 50 yard targets?
Is your hunting mostly close range?

You ever hunted in Alabama ?

I've killed a lot of deer here in Alabama, 90% of them were killed between 35 and 65 yards.
The thick , deep hardwoods really limits your practical and ethical range for a clean killing shot.

Sonny I shoot at fifty to 75 yards as that's all the level distance I've got on my place. I could shoot a thousand yards but I'd have to cross the state highway and trespass on my neighbors place to score the targets. He's a shooter too and we've discussed trading targets.

Selmerfan,

I think the square moved just before the boolit arrived. I can't say that I blame him...or her.
