Ordered a stainless Ruger Hawkeye in 30-06 and a #4 Shilen stainless barrel. Will take a couple of months to put it together so gives me time to gather some information and a new mould.

Would like to use cast bullets for practice. Shilen states there 9.3 barrels are .365 and 1-12 twists. Any and all recommendations for cast bullet data would be appreciated.

I'd be willing to bet that a gent here (and good friend of mine) who uses the name "9.3x62Al" just might have an idea or two for you. If he doesn't chime in soon, just send him a Private Message, since he may not see your query.

I paper patch 0.358" cast bullets for my 9.3x74R. It's simple and they shoot well.
