Very cool. I was lucky enough to get into the aft compartment of one a number of
years ago in a museum.

Thanks for the link, I've been aircraft crazy since I read "God is My Co-Pilot" as a young boy. One of the benefits of working for FedEx in the early years was jumpseat travel. You sat right behind the pilot and were plugged in to the cockpit intercom system so you saw and heard the whole show.

Here is a project I am working on this year. It's F-105 thunderchief's located at Lackland AFB. I was there a few weeks ago prepping it to remove the wings and tail section to load on trucks. It will be moved to the Kansas Air Guard museum.

Speaking of which, my son & I saw an Douglas A-26 in full military regalia over Lake Washington/Mercer Is. in Seattle on Oct. 1st. After returning to NY, I decided I needed a bit of exercise and took my road bike out for a short ride. Shortly thereafter I heard aircraft engine sounds, but not the usual Cessna or Piper engines or turboprops that fly over. Rather, it was a genuine B-17 flying south over the Hudson River (this was on Oct. 6). Odd thing is I saw another B-17 (on display) when we visited the Boeing Air Museum (Seattle) on Oct. 3. Think about this: 2 WWII aircraft in flight in less than a week!

The control corrections on short final were insane. I had no idea that the B-29 (or any aircraft) was like that. I'm so use to flying "touch" light corrections, that would freak me out.

Very cool video, thanks for sharing.
