6 cavity .457 round ball mold ??

G'day,

Has anyone done a 6 cavity .457 round ball mold ?
A couple of mates are keen to source one, just wanted to know if one had been done here in the past - given the popularity of the ruger old army - i would hope that this mold has been done before and may be easily run again ??

I had asked earlier about a combo .457 RB and .457 bullet mold but found a combo isn't a possibility. Miha did mention he had some round ball molds marked .454 but they drop at .457

Dick Dastardly over at www.biglube.com had a protoptype .457 made but then he lost that maker for some reason. He is now with someone else and says the moulds are soon to be a reality. I would love a .454 set, or two, myself.

I know perfection takes time but we have been waitng on Dick for a long time. Why is it so hard to produce this mold. I would like a .457 and a .380. Two cavity molds take a long time to get to 100 balls. I'm all in.

I dunno, I've asked Mihec if he can do a 6 cavity as he has already done a 2 but he doesn't seem too interested either. I'm willing to hancho the buy for some 6 cav .454 molds, maybe some .457 also. I would rather go 66666 than 22222 myself.

Well, Lee should be able to make these since they make two cavity round ball molds. I would be in for one if you can find a maker, springfield.
