Hi all,
Here is a pic:

And here is some hatcam video footage:

Those orange dots in the middle are actually painted steel discs.
You probably can't make out a whole lot from that video, the angle of the sunlight is bad, and with all the smoke.
Anywhooo.... I made them so the steel discs, the orange dots you see at first, are about the same size as a clay bird. I have several reasons for the way I designed them:
1. you don't have to go out and buy a box of clay birds...which you only get one use out of anyway
2. the steel discs reset all by themselves.... they don't fall down into the dirt or the mud, so you don't have to walk out there and put them back on their stands.
3. Your range time is a premium...I am guessing...just like my range time...You want to maximize the amount of time you get behind the trigger. If you are out there replacing clay birds after each practice string, then you're wasting away a lot of your precious range time.
4. You can remove the orange steel discs, and insert a steel backer, and use clay birds if you want to, say like for a shotgun side match/stage at a IDPA or USPSA pistol match.(before my hatcam footage there, I had not realized how dirty your hands get by handling clay birds).
5. They all break down and if I recall correctly I can get 6 complete sets into a USPS flat rate shipping box.
Anywhooo.... I am thinking about going into business making these. So I am just gauging any interest in them by posting here on the Cast Boolits Forum.
If you have any questions or comments, I am all ears.
Thanks!
