Compatable Dies

I understand that Lyman and RCBS punches and sizing dies are interchangeable in Lyman and RCBS sizers. Is this correct?

Would you buy a new Lyman or a new RCBS sizer?

In theory they are interchangable. I have read of an interchangability issue with one of the new sizers, unfortunately I cannot remember which way it doesn't work.

I have been buying Lyman H&I dies to use in my RCBS Lubamatic because they are a few dollars cheaper, all I have bought in the last couple of years have fit and worked fine.

They are interchangable. Some of the longer H&I dies do not allow the RCBS nut to screw down completely, so what? They work.

I'd get the RCBS - slightly better construction and you can't beat the guarantee. I have one of each.

I like the RCBS for sinlge lube groove boolits. They have 4 holes arranged in a circle so it is easier to get a complete fill.
