I hope this is the right sub-forum, if not please move it.

I sent the following email to LEE.

I was just wondering, I have a bunch of 1-cavity molds I have bought over the years and now you only sell most of them as 2-cavity, is there any procedure for returning them and upgrading to the 2-cavity molds at 1/2 price or anything like that?
This was their reply.

Mr. Grace:

Yes, if you send in your single cavity molds, we will offer the double cavity molds for the same mold (as long as we still make it, if not you are able to choose another of your choice) at half price. Double cavity molds are now $25.98, half price would be $12.99.

Thank You,

Wow! I gotta say, that's pretty decent of them. Kinda makes you wonder what one of their moulds actually costs them to make.

Hmmm . . . Wonder if they'd do the same on a two to six cavity swap?

Excuse me, I've gotta go out to the shop and see what single cavity molds I've got.

Or for five bucks more you could buy a new two-banger from Midsouth, pay a lot less shipping, get much faster service, and have both moulds! I don't know about other designs, but there are some big differences between the new 457-340-RF and the old single-cavity one I have. I'm really glad I have both.
