just couldn't stand it! life is empty without a dog. after the passing of Miss Heidi two weeks ago, I didn't realize how lonesome a fellow could get. I adopted from a local agency. found on the street with a note on her collar "my name is spanky,I am 12 weeks old and my master cannot keep me"
she is a pit bull terrier mix, solid white with a brown patch over the left eye.
very friendly and has a good disposition, I think she will make a good partner.

Good for you. I never lasted to long after losing one, just seems natural to have a dog around. They are pretty neat at that age except for the house breaking, but even thats not bad if you use a crate.:drinks:

charlie, adopting Spanky is the best way to honor the memory of Miss Heidi. You also qualify for extra points by adopting her from an agency. Congratulations for saving a life.

Good on you.

This is ours. Bella is now 4 months old and a handful. My wife walked her the rain for the first time last night and a lab the dog loved it.

There wasn't a dry eye in the house when we had to put my beagle down last year. Well..... it wasn't long before my wife decided for me that I needed a new dog. I'm not so sure that she's "my" dog. Best decision my wife ever made for me.http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h152/lhsjfk3t/100_0009.jpg

Jeff, it looks like she has that sleeping dog trick down pat. At that age they have 2 speeds, balls to the wall or unconsiousness.
