Today I took my 28-2 (http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp182/ScottJ175/DSC_1661.jpg) out for some range time and ran about 50 rounds of my favorite cast .357 out of it.
The barrel is in its usual lead free state from this load but at the end of the session I decide to try 6 of my hot 125gr j-word since I'd never fired them out of this gun. Accurate and mild of of the big N-frame but as I'm wiping it down this evening I look at the barrel and see streaks of copper and think "oh bother, now I have to get that out". I don't have that issue with cast :D
