What is the easiest way to remove the lube from the grooves on cast bullets. I need to get it out and end up with a clean bullet. Any suggestions appreciated.

I think I'd put them in a toaster oven at 200 degrees. Keep a close eye on them, you don't want the lube to "cook" onto the boolits.

Try some brake cleaner,itīll disolve the lube and leave the boolits clean.Just pour some in a bowl put the boolits in and let it sit for a short while.Take em out ,let em dry and thats that.

Bucket of water on a Turkey Fryer, bring the water to just under a boil. Lube floats to the surface. Let the bullets air dry.

Works for me.

I used the (mine...not hers....) toaster oven trick at 200F the one time I needed to do this. To avoid the mess on the tray, I put down a disposable paper shop towel that is cut so it is in no danger of coming into contact with a heating element. You could just as easily use a pie tin that is ready to be tossed. The lube wound up soaked into the rag - very minimal cleanup later to get any traces of lube off of the tray. Set the temp, set the timer for an hour or so, turn it on and forget it till it's cooled off.

How about a hair dryer or heat gun?

Another vote for brake cleaner spray. It gets boolit lube out of seater dies real well, should do the same for boolits.
