new for them
got a factory mold and it would not close. took 2 hrs to hone the line up pin holes to get it to close. Hope they dont go to Lees trash

Out of curiosity, did you call them? RCBS has an amazing customer service reputation. If it was a new mold, I am sure they would have helped you out.

I would have been on the horn to where I got it from to send it back, secondly I would have been on the horn to RCBS about it.Robert

I guess anybody can mess up, even RCBS. The last new mold I got is the RCBS 22 55 gr, it is without doubt one of the best, easiest casting molds I have of over 70 molds. The mold really is a gem.

I would call them, if there is a problem it will be very difficult to fix if they don't know about it.

My 45-270-saa just needed the pins tapped in a little, did you try this first??

Well time I messed with sending it back I fixed it . It works now . Some lapping compound on the pins and working it back and forth set them. Took about 10 min to flat file a Lee handle to fit .
Kroil and cast about 100 nice 150gr 270 boolits
Lost about 20 before got mold to running temp
need to hone bottom of sprut plate it is a little rough
