The new mould arrived yesterday. It's dropping a .3577-.3590 boolits with a very soft alloy, BHN 8. [smilie=w:[smilie=w:[smilie=w:

I sold the previous one because it was dropping itty-bitty .356-.357 boolits with the same alloy.

What a nice surprise! Maybe it's a one-off bigger cut mould, or maybe Lyman has made an improvement in their production. Anyone buy a new one lately and have similar results?

I have two four cavity 358477 moulds that drop .359/360, but they are at least 30 years old.

Those old moulds dropped a good size. In the past couple of years it seems they got smaller and smaller. I was itching to retry this mould, glad I did.
