Someone on a different forum is getting out of casting.

I bought a couple of Lee six cavs to see if I could master those. Got the 356-120-TC and 358-158-RF each with handles for a total of $70.

I was mainly interested in the 9mm boolit.

For .358 stuff I've had great success with Lee's 140-SWC out of the two cav I scored at a gun show. However, my old .38 M&P shows signs of being more accurate with the 358156 so I thought maybe I'd try this 158.

The 158 RFN is a great boolit. Shoots well even in my Marlin 1894 that my son now has, plus all my 38s and 357 revolvers.

BTW, these are both the bevel base version. If that seems to give me problems I'm going to have them reamed to a plain base.

Read elsewhere about being able to force a gas check on the .358 bevel though. Might keep it that way for building hot stuff.

Both are EXCELLENT designs, and IMO Lee has some real stinkers out there, but also some
really good ones. These two have done extremely well for me in many different guns.
