After leaving the Bill Cody Museum we traveled to and through the Big Horn Mountains. There were a lot of motorcycles after we left Yellowstone and were headed in the same direction as we were. To Sturgis.
The Big Horns are higher than one would think. As we got higher into the mountains the colder it got. The summit was over 9000 ft and it was drizzling rain also.

We found a camp grounds inside the city limits of Gillette, Wyoming called Crazy Woman.
The next morning we were on Interstate 90 headed in the direction of Sturgis. But we stopped at Devil's Tower because it was on the way and neither of us had ever stopped to see it in all the times we had been out here.

We got to Sturgis before noon and at a car dealership there were a bunch of motorcycle venders showing off their bikes and offering test drives.
I was impressed with the Victory motorcycle as it was comfortable to ride and had a powerful engine, and a six speed transmission.

Next, we took rides on the Harley-Davidson's. The Harley's are nice but a little stiff riding even on the bigger bikes.
After a few test rides we went down town Sturgis to look around.

I saw more motorcycles in one place than I've ever seen before and the were all different. I took a lot of pitcures and will share some here on this post.

Below are some of the bikes I took pictures while in Sturgis,
It is only a small sampling of what was on display.
Most are concept bikes and are not production models.
