Went to a gun show today here in Ma. and found the last pieces I needed for an 03-A3 that I have been putting together for a couple of years. Bought it as a barreled action minus the trigger guard, follower and spring. Got them today, $40.00. Now to apply the final finish on the stock, blue it up and take it out and shoot it.

Congratulations on restoring a good old rifle. Is is a two groove? I hear tell they like bore riders.

Apparently it had been sporterized by a previous owner so it has a 4 groove sporter weight barrel. I found it in a gun shop I had never been into and was in the process of closing, for $100.00 I couldn't leave it there. It also had a cheeeeeaaaap scope mounted in a scope mount that replaced the bolt release. Took that off right away and ordered a new bolt release lever. Hopefully by spring I will have it done.
