With full power loads the modified open bolt to closed bolt opens too soon(its too light) and the case blows almost straight. When loaded with cast 115g bullets and 4g of Bullseye its a honey.I have 400-500 down the tube and here are typical 10 shot groups at 25 yards. These were 30 rounds loaded in a the magazine and fired consecutively with no barrel cooling between.(upper left is group #1)

A awkward pistol(stock pinned back permanently)with no real purpose but shows the 762 x 25 is a pretty good round.

I'm looking at making my 9mm Spanish Destroyer bolt action into a swap barrel with 7.62x25 as well as 9mm barrels. I was thinking of trying my NOE 129 SP .314 or the Lee/Harris .312 155gr 2R 7.62x39 boolit might be good for subsonic loading.

A Destroyer would be interesting in 7.62 Tokarev for sure ;especially if throated for heavy bullets.i seriously thought about a Martini in this caliber.

What kind of OAL are you using, George? Are the bands below the neck?

4 cavity 311316 with aluminum checks(way below case neck)- base had bad lumps from me not wearing glasses and being in a hurry while casting.Everything wrong and look how this rattley thing shoots with a 1X pistol scope!
