I have a K-32, a 32/20 hand ejector, and a single six 32 H&R that need a good bullet.......I posted something on group buys for the future to see who else would like one.

In the mean time does anybody have one of the round/flat 32 molds that would like to trade some bullets from for some 158-RF or .452 dia 230 grain round nose ?? I also have a Seaco 125 grain round nose that I can size either .356 or .358 that I can make boolits to trade.

I just got a toolhead and conversion for my RL550B but have no projectiles.

I've got a 32 H and R in the Bisley Ruger and it really likes the Lee 113 GC bullet. I had to lap the mold and now the bullet drops at 314 and shoots like a house a fire.

I have the RCBS 98 SWC and MM 115 WFN plain-base that might fit your needs.

You have an original Model 16 S&W? In 32 S&W Long?

I have a six holer Lee 314-85-WC and a 6 holer C311-113-RF that casts about .313.

Mine is even pre model 16 I think Al, serial 589xx 4 screw.

hands down one of the most accurate revolvers I have owned,

My new model #3 in 44 russian with the pope sights and special non rebounding hammer is as or more accurate I think, I have put the K-32 in a Ransom rest and it seemed to cut 2" or so groups at 50 yards.

They don't make an adaptor for the Model 3 hehe, but it cuts the X ring out of the target at 25 yards, the gun just hangs on your hand with those fine fine sights perfectly aligned.

.............Willbird, I have seen Deputy Al hit the 200 meter gong (10x10) at our range continually offhand, issue sights with his Smith in 32 H&R. Too bad doing as well at 25 is so tough!! Well, good for me anyway :-)

Buckshot should have his own ignore button at times.

Wills, that pre-16 K-32 is a real gem. I have the latest K-32 (Model 16-4 x 6"), and it's a peach--but it's no classic K-32.

More on the #3.....is it one of the S&W Custom Shop offerings of recent make? The original Russians and their ilk in 44 Russian had a rep for fine accuracy.

How did you manage to mention two of my "wild dream" guns in one post?

Nope my russian is an authentic one, they both came from my dad (he passed away suddenly june 10 1986 btw )

The K32 I'm not sure where he came up with, back in the early to middle 60's they werent anything special.

The Model 3, Dad was at an OGCA show about 1974 and saw the grip sticking out of a paper bag held by an old man, I don't know what he paid for it........it scares me to see what ones not 1/4 as nice sell for.

I should get a history from Smith on it...........It is the nicest machine I have handled....purely a work of art. and it shoots good too.

a friend and I were talking about the russkie ctg. in a modern pistol loaded to 40,000 it would be a butt kicker.

Both revolvers are VERY FINE examples of Springfield's best work, for sure.

I've had great success with the RCBS 98 SWC in a host of 32 caliber revolvers, accuracy-wise. It's not a RFN design, more like a Keith/Thompson blend and plain-based. This design has become my go-to boolit in 32 S&W Long and 32 Magnum. They fall from my mold at a fat .314", not quite .315" in Taracorp alloy (92/6/2).

The MM 120 grainers get used mostly in the 32-20 revolver, but has some recent work in the 32 Magnum. In the 32 Mag, it didn't shoot as well as the RCBS boolit, but that was only one powder (AA-7)--so it's a real preliminary indication. Using 5.5 x SR-4756/32-20, the boolit did very well in both my S&W M&P and in a Colt Bisley. These fall free at a fat .315" in 92/6/2.

willi.....I've had really good results with the 3118 in the .32 Mag and in .32-20 cases in the .30 Carbine. I have one that runs about .313" so it's one of the older ones.

Surprising to me, it shoots well in .32 Long cases out of the .32 Mag.

I also have a 32-98-SWC but it seems to be a bit light for 100 yard plinking. The 3118 is much more accurate.

Saw a Buckeye 32-20/32 Mag at the gun show today. It was mighty hard to keep my mind on business and pass it up. The guy had a pair. He also had the .38-40 and 10mm./beagle

Buckeye did some neat rugers.

I'm not sure what I would do with a round butt 3" 44 magnum Redhawk (one example) but it looked neat in shotgun news hehe
