I saw that, too. Here's my take on it. You can make out a '577' stamp on it, so I think it's a case crimper for the 577 Nitro cartridge, sort of like a stab crimp, roll the case around and lower the lever to apply the crimp below the end of the neck. Whaddya think?

Would that tool choke a coiled case into a Snider GG bullet?

I think the crimp idea is correct, but I think it crimps the case into
a groove in the middle of the bullet.

I wish I could find a few things like that to sell on Ebay "I'm not sure what it's purpose was" but someone wants it bad
I am more likely to try and sell the things that dont sell at a $.10 min bid

I got some Matt. Problem is they cost so much I can't get my money back- even if I pretend that I don't know what they are. These people kill me! They have stuff that's priceless, and it was just laying around in someone's junk.

Check out the ad again, a fellow posted this:

YOU HAVE AN ENGLISH BULLET CRIMPER FOR THE 577 CARTRIDGE. iT WAS USED TO HOLD THE BULLET IN PLACE . THIS CARTRIDGE WAS USED IN DOUBLE RIFLES AND AFTER FIRING THE FIRST BARREL THE BULLET IN THE OTHER CHAMBER COULD LOOSEN

Looks like Neuces and 44 were close, the double rifle answer solves it for me -

What a country!

Whatever it was it went for $378.93. I'd be inclined to agree with Goatlips on what it was.

Cheers,
