B&C Medalist Stock

Has anyone used the Bell and Carlson Medalist stock with the aluminum block? I have a .280 Remington 700 SS with the factory synthetic stock. I don't like the stock and was thinking of making a change. Any comments?

Yes, they are fantastic!! Have one on a Savage 10 in 306 and one on a 1954 Win 70. I Acraglassed the 308 snd left the 70 alone. They are heavy but extremely rugged!!

I have one on a Savage SA. I had to return it to get one that the block was square. The replacement was good. They are not a bad stock. The flat fore arm is a little odd. A bipod will not sit flat and will twist around on you unless you use an adaptor because of the flat. Also, still bed it. It will shoot better. My next stock is a Manners.
