beagling tape

So I have a mold I want to try to beagle to get just a bit bigger bullet. Anyone want to Karma me a 4" piece of foil tape. I don't mind buying a roll for $13 but don't really need 150ft!

I use a small piece of copper foil intended for stained glass work. A lifetime size roll is maybe 5 bucks.

Oops! You're right it's 50yds.

All I could find locally was "metalized" plastic tape. I'm sure there must be someplace around that has the good stuff, but it would have cost me more in phone calls and gas to find/get it.

I expect this roll to last through my son's great-grandchildren!

Why not just stop by your local furnace/AC installer and ask politely for a short piece? I had a new furnace put in this spring and when the guy was here I asked and he gave me a part roll so now I have a lifetime supply Free.

Once you have a roll of that .003" aluminum tape you will find many, many uses for it around the shop and home.

462 is sending me some, much appreciated. If I was having ac service, that is exactly what I would do. I could stop by a shop, but driving around trying to find one seems counter productive. Good suggestion though. The foil tape from Amazon is cheap enough to have around forever. So next Amazon order, it will get added if I feel I need more.
