#78 was a popular design with some major competitors shooting 45 ACP back in the day. You can probably find a picture of it on the website (of all or most of the H&G designs) of Texas Flyboy, or PM him for more info. I have a four holer that casts them, but it is stored away at the moment so I can't readily cast any of them for you. It is a semi-wadcutter and feeds well in semi autos. It does a good job in revolvers as well. It is a short,fat bullet so it casts easily (as opposed to long skinny ones). It has a wide base band, two lube grooves and a wide forward band. The nose is a truncated cone version that helps with the feeding. It always has worked well for me even though it was overshadowed by some of the other H&G designs. LLS

Yup, that's why I want it. It's supposed to shoot better from revolvers than the #68.
