I plan on slugging my SR9C pistol barrel. I want to lube my lead ball and, with a plastic mallet, send it through the muzzle end. My question is once the lead ball is flush with the muzzle should I push it all the way through with a dowel or bang it out the way it went in? I have seen it done both ways on Utube.

No expert, but from what I've read:
pushing it all the way through will give you the smallest diameter in the barrel,
you might miss that if you only go part way in.
Or your barrel might be the same all the way through but who knows?
Also you might be able to feel a rough spot or a bulge (larger dia.) while pushing it.
