I have an H&R in 500 S&W and I'm looking for loads using cast 400-500gr using 2400.
I'm open to other powders but would like to use 2400.

The goal is for that weight bullet to do around 1300fps from the rifle.

Thanks

I've used some of these loads from the handloads .com site. I see nothing there for using 2400 in ANY 500 S&W loads.

I found two loads in the Hornady 8th edition for 300 FTX and 350 HP using 2400 powder. 350 HP, 30.6 to 38.2.

Thanks for the reply.
I had checked Handloads site and a few other places but no luck yet.
There are loads list for the 500 Lin with 2400, but none yet for the 500 S&W.
