On vacation and I came across a sleepy little town and a sleepy little gunshop. Bought a Winchester 62A made in 1941. It's nice and clean and has been treated right. It has a King rear sight on it. I know that the King Co. made some great sights for revolvers like Colt and S&W but I didn't know they made them for a little old Winchester 22. I'm not set up for down loading photos or I would take a picture. It says "KING" Pat. Aug. 15 1933. It's barrel mounted and is a buckhorn with a white diamond at the bottom of the sight notch. Front sight appears factory. Any of you guys ever hear of this type of sight being on this type of rifle? Thank you for any help you can give me.

Are you refering to it being a gallery gun? It is not but I'm sure they were shot alot in those rifles being the cheapest of the three rounds listed.
