Include donuts and Pepsi but not much else. I wonder about their milk and bread.

The local bandit.....er, gunshop owner has half-decent prices on the CCI Mini-Mags, ($6.49/100), so I buy mine there. I couldn't abide his $39.95/100 for Sierra Game King 30 caliber 180 grainers, though. Dunno about that dude, sometimes.

Ive tried to purchase ammo from gunshows but it is way over priced.
Last I checked gander mt has the federal bulk packs for $20 and a $5 rebate and there is no limit on how many you can get normally I would jump on it but I am very very low on funds. Walmart ammo used to be $15.47 then it's up to $16 some.

And I try to only buy federal products ammunition and the rest cause all the other brands are made in china.

I've already tried to buy directly from manufacturer but even if I get a couple pallets they still say no.

I know alot of people on this website own a gunshot how do they get their ammo?

Well the .22 isn't a sniper so I personally think you don't need match rounds unless you shoot competition but shooting with friends same ammo is fine my uncle prefers to shoot rabbits with the 17HMR with ballistic tip bullets I have to say it kills em good but he is a perfectionist and 17 ammo is more expensive but he started stockpiling ammo a long time ago.

"And I try to only buy federal products ammunition and the rest cause all the other brands are made in china."

Interesting. I just checked on my Aguila and CCI boxes, this is the most current ammo which is less than 6 months old (at least that was when I purchased it), and see no indication of being made in China. None of my other ammo is new enough to make a valid comment.

Which brands are referring to?

I bought a lifetime supply (I hope) when the Federal 550 packs were only $12.98. Hopefully 11k rnds last a while.

I bought 11 @ $10.47 each at WM in 2006...thought I'd be set for life, but I have but two boxes left--now they are selling for almost $20.00 a box...never would have guessed they'd go up so much so soon..should have bought more.

I am quite certain the importation of Chinese ammunition was banned by Clinton.

Some of this is from England, some from Germany, a tiny bit from Mexco and yes some from the good old USA.......but none from China.

Ok no ammunition from china but the ear muffs cleaning kits solvents and parts are china.
I bought Winchester earmuffs cause that's all they have and it's china.
Well today the stockmarket fell pretty bad and all my money for college is in the stockmarket and I can't move it till I'm 18 a couple years ago I had enough for me and one of my children now ill be lucky to get a year out of it.

If I had to pay $38.95/100 for 180 grain j-word bullets, I'd fish out my 311284 mold from my loading area, go outside on a sunny day, and start casting. They can keep their j-word bullets at those kind of prices.:cbpour:

Ya know, I don't think I could ever buy a lifetime supply of .22 lr. Sooner or later, I will run out. Especially when the younguns start banging away.

I shoot a lot of X22lr, Winchester 40 grain. I get the reloading shop to order it once in a while. It's around $30 a brick of 500 and will approximate a lot of match ammo. We use the Winchester and even Federal Lightning to shoot silhouette matches, we're not that serious about winning (it isn't everything).
Ron

PS: the 40 grain is for 100 meter targets, the heavier bullet carries farther.

It depends on what you are shooting. Sometimes a 10/22 won't feed standard velocity ammo and some target pistols shouldn't be shot with high velocity ammo.

I order from Natchez,
Last stuff I ordered CCI blazers were $15.99 per brick (500)
and Federal Gold Metal #719 were around $34 per brick (500)
I order for a few friends, we split the shipping.

90% of my ammo is of the "roll your own" variety,

I buy the rest, including .22LR from my local gun shop. Not at rock bottom prices but they are fine people and I want them to succeed at what they do.

Be it good or bad, I am, willfully or not, partly responsible for the condition of my community.

+1! I spend the extra few bucks and buy from my local gun shop. I try not to shop at Wal Mart. When WalMart came in to Canada, they bought all the Woolworths stores (over 100 of them), except the stores that were unionized. Any store that has attempted to become unionized in Canada has been shut down.

I've been buying mine from a large gun store. They put out a flyer every month and most months they have a variety of .22s on sale. I've been getting 500 round bricks of Blazers and Federals for $15-16. They have other bricks and bulk packages but I prefer those 2.

The down side is that sometimes you are limited to 1 or 2 bricks. Just means you have to visit the shop more often.

I hate to say it but Wally-World for my .22lr, the Wincester tripe nickle 36 gr. PHP bulk pack seems to be what my Ruger likes to digest. Oddly my Da has a 10/22 that's about as old as I am( give or take a decade) that really enjoys the Wolf stuff. As for my 982S, I go to Midsouth. Wish they or anyone had bulk packs of .22 WMR.
