will tumble lube grooves hold enough lube when lubed with a conventional Lyman 450 type sizer that when shot will no cause undue amounts of leading ?
Or do you need to tumble lube these type only ?? :cbpour:

I have used my Star on many Ranch Dog bullets with good success. Much depends upon how much they get sized down, those little grooves sure can disappear fast.

Try pan lubing and see if that works for you. Another option is to smear a soft lube in the grooves with your finger.

With that small amount of sizing you will be fine. It sure doesn't look like much lube once you are done but I have gotten no leading in my Marlin 1895 with the 425 RD at 1750.

I have shot many, many Lyman 450 sized 311165 RD bullets in my Marlin 336. Good accuracy and nom leading.

Go for it.
