I love Lee's design for the 452-200-RF and after browsing their site, it looks like the 358-125-RF design is the same thing just a smaller diameter. I have a Ruger SP101 chambered in 357mag and just got a Taurus PT709 Slim from my dad...using different sizing dies, would it be possible to use this mould for both guns? I'll be tumble lubing fwiw.

I know 9mm Luger can be a major pain but after casting and loading for 5x different calibers, I'm up for the challenge.

Thanks ~ Jech

The RF design has a fairly large and blunt nose. It may or may not feed well in your particular 9 mm . It is worth a try.

As you can see, it is one of my FAVORITE bullets in the 38 Spec. and 357 Mag.

Yeah that's what I thought about the 45cal version...that the giant meplat would cause feeding issues but it has yet to fail me after tens of thousands of rounds. The 709 has a chamber that I would call pseudo-unsupported...similiar to my friend's Glock 23. My gut says it would feed okay but only first hand experience will tell.

Anybody at all have experience with this mould that can chime in? I'm also wondering about the Lee 356-105-SWC for 380auto, 9mm and plinking 357mag.

I use the 358-125RF sized to .3575-.358 in my HiPower over 6.8-7.0 gr BlueDot with no problems.

Lee 358-125-RF: 9mm and 357mag?

Ditto.

This is very accurate in my Thompson Contender and 9mm 1911.

It keyholes in my S&W M19. But all I have in stock now were sized .356 for the 9mm.

When the weather cools off, I will cast some more and try them at .357/.358 in the Smith.
