I know it is probably too slow, but has anyone tried VV 3n37 in lead 45 loads?
Lapua lists data for jacketed 200 (6.5-7.4) and 230 (5.7-6.6). It is listed by Lyman to be # 34 on their burn rate. #s 30- 33 are as follows: power pistol, n340, sr-4756, an 800x respectively. Blue dot is listed at #40. I would like to use 3n37 for higher end loads with the Mihec 452-200 HP.
For comparison, the Mihec bullet measures .580" long while the Lyman 452460 measures .5875 long. I load them to 1.2". Incase anyone wants to run those through a program. ;-)
As always, I'll take any loads as something to use at my own risk, but if anyone has a load listed in their manual, let me know so I can get that manual for myself. It is hard to find VV data and lead data together. I'll stop there, any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
EagleOtto
