I'm doing the mod to get the lee handles to fit an RCBS 2-banger and have the thickness so the mold slides in. When I close the mold it takes a bit of squeezing to get the back portion of the mold halves to come togeather. Do I need to remove some material from the inside edge of the handles for a better fit?

I had to do a bit of light grinding and sanding on mine.
They fit everything good now.

When modifying Lee handles to fit other brands of moulds, I've found that the slot in the mould is not necessarily the same height along its length, or that one slot measures differently than the other. In another case, a Lee handle wouldn't fit a Lee mould, without a bit of work. Fine tuning may required.

The mold handles should be a free fit to the blocks, to allow the blocks to self-align. You may have to take off a little more handle material...
