Just gave the go ahead to order a 375 Ruger, and being a bit of a wuss and a titewad , Id like to shoot as many light to moderate cast boolits thru the "thing". I had great luck with plinker class loads in my 7mm WSM and would like to try for the same in this new "thing". A quick check of the available molds seems to put things into the 375 Win. range with boolits running 377 to 0.379". Id like a trial run with a less expensive mold such as the Lee. Ive heard the diameter specs on Lee's are approximations . My 45 molds seem to drop about 0.451++. Does anyone have a reasonable idea what to expect out of the Lee 379-250. Or does anyone have a recommendation for the 3/8" bores. Thanks all.

I too thought about the Lee 379-250 except I wanted more velocity than what a PB could deliver for my 375 H&H.

Here is an image of the Lee bullet:

I shoot the 378-275 GC from BRP molds and it's been a great performer for accuracy and currently I'm pushing it over 2300 fps with RL-15.

Ranch Dog Outdoors stocks a similar boolit mold to the Lee but RDO puts a gascheck on it.

Excellent mold.

Ranch Dog Outdoor's 375 boolit:
It's lighter, nose a bit shorter and is a tumble lube (TL) design and as mentioned is also a gas check (GC) design.
