I was given a few hundred rds of 2506 reloaded ammo(20ish yrs old) to dispose of. It came from a shooter who has passed on. I dont have the rifle that the ammo was loaded for. Nor do I own a 2506 or anything in .25 cal.
I have decided to pull it apart and salvage the brass, bullets etc.

I do shoot the .270 and 3006. Can I reform the 2506 brass in to 270 or 3006 , so I can get some use from it?
Thanks guys.

yes (this is from memory, so do your due diligence and look up how to fireform brass)

pull it down, look up a good load of bullseye, (i think 10% of a 100% load is where you want to be to start) top it off with cream of wheat and pull the trigger.

up the BE a grain at a time until you get a full shoulder/neck, and then trim and FL size, load as new brass
