Finding myself woefully short of 7.65 Mauser brass, I ordered 100 from Graf's (on sale) and it arrived yesterday. Nicely bulk packed in a heavy plastic bag and the usual good quality. All cases measured a very uniform OAL, so I proceeded to count out 50 to use in my 1889 Belgian carbine. I counted the remainder to make darn sure I wasn't "shorted" by some Serbian worker and was pleased to find there were actually 103 total.

Now, it's not unusual to find a few extra bullets in a box as most manufacturers pack one or two more "for good measure". Brass is another matter though, as it's comparatively more expensive and this is the first time I've ever encountered it.

Unforutunately they haven't figured out a way to add a few extra primers to a box yet....

I have had good results with Prvi Partisan brass, durable, accurate - not second rate
in any way that I can see. A few extra never hurts, either. A small discount.

I have also had good luck with them. Have removed inside prime hole burr and trimmed before first loading, and annealed after 1st. loading, and have had good case life.

I use them and find no problem at all. I have one or two I use for test tube testing so they get quite a lot of reloading. Lost count of how many times. I doesn't seem to make any difference.

Nothing wrong with the 'nny' stamp.

Shot some Prvi ammo and works as good as any. Actually look for it in a number of milsurp calibers I shoot.

All my 7.5x55 brass is NNY and it is top notch. :)

I have talked to 2 separate (by many miles) Gun Shops, that order bulk Winchester brass straight from Winchester. Both stores mention the Winchester head stamped 7.62x54R comes bulk packed loose in a box with Privi markings on the outside. The markings identify the box as Privi, but have no reference to caliber etc of what is in the box.

Prvi's the most available and economical I've found for reloadable brass 7.62x39, 7.5 swiss, and 7.62x54R. They're also just nice looking ammunition.

Just bought some 7.62x39 soft point round nose for reloading... I was just going to use them at the range, but they look like such a perfect round for hunting cover here in the southeast, I'm going to have to save a couple of boxes and try them hunting.

Actually, the headstamp is cyrillic (Russian) letters, their "P" is the same
as the greek "Pi", but styilized to look a bit like a lower case "n". The cyrillic
"Y" character is like "U", so transliteration give is "PPU"

One more dab of useless information. :D
