Well, first the reloading bug hit several years ago. Now, as I knew would happen, I've begun my casting "career". I literally started loading yesterday and man is this fun!

I'm friends with a local auto shop owner so he's grateful to get rid of "hazmat", so I'm set for lead. I'm casting for my two Mosin Nagants (M44 and 91/30), my 30-30 and my 7.7 Arisaka as far as rifle go. I'm also going to cast for .45 ACP and .38 Special when the mold comes in.

I look forward to reading like crazy and learning from you guys. And yes, I did buy a copy of the Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook.

Glad to be here,

Emrah

Don't think your going to be "set" with just one tire shop suppling your habit. Get as many wheel weights as you can while you still can. Other than that, enjoy the addiction!!

You better spell out Montevideo...
I grow up in Big Lake, and Monti was always Monticello,
which is just NW of the Metro.

I'm a couple hours west on 212 in Monte. Have fun!

Welcome Emrah !
sounds like you are set with WW....til...
they are banned.
MN has already started down that road.
No state owned vehicles can have Lead WW installed,
that started recently, don't remmeber exactly when.

The Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook will be your friend when
you try to locate Load data.

There is lots to read here, I didn't start casting
til I was a member here for 6 months...there is so much to learn.
be sure to take the time to look at all the forum sections,
it was a few months before I ventured away from the swaging forum,
which is what brought me to this website originally.

Welcome - I'm just a little east of you in EP. I frequent the Gun Stop - which you may be familiar with.... Maybe we'll see you there sometime.
